The Sun is delighted to welcome Stephen Colbert as our first official fact-checker. In his damage control video below, the “Covid Truther” Stephen refers to is none other than The Sodom Sun. The article that put the ball in motion was published on June 14th, 2021.
An Idea Whose Time has Come
Around since 3400 BC, we’re often among the first 100 monkeys to put two and two together. That appears to be the case here. The idea of unvaccinated sperm being valuable is obvious enough. However, that it might soon be so coveted as to rival the price of gold or bitcoin is something we hadn’t seen before. Apparently, the idea struck a nerve. For the record, the Sun prefers white gold.
Are Logical Fallacies the New Funny?
We thought the gig for late-night TV was comedy and interviews. When did they start running interference for Mr. Global’s assaults on humanity? It appears those unable to conceive of an idea also lack the tools to refute them. Stephen’s “Take Down” of our meme commits the following logical fallacies:
- Irrelevant Thesis — Mistakes Satire for News
- Ad Hominum — “Stupidest of the stupid….”
- Straw Man — Conflates “Vaccines” with Gene Therapy Jab
- Appeal to False Authority (Vice Article) — “Getting vaccinated does not, in fact, affect sperm quality or count….”
Stephen concludes with a rename of the Sun’s satirical sperm bank, GoodSeed4U. The Sun are not investment advisors, but we’d reach into our own wallets if Stephen’s “Spank Bank” were to go public!
Without Further Adieu
Please give a warm welcome to our new fact-checker, Stephen Colbert. The Sun looks forward to a good working relationship and will supply plenty of material for his newly assigned role.
The next Sun-meteor is coming for us all, Stephen. Here at the Sun, we’re thankful it’s Getting Brighter Every Day.
